Rob Monahan joined Lake Capital in 2007. His primary responsibilities include evaluating potential investments, structuring transactions, leading due diligence, negotiating transaction and financing agreements, and managing portfolio company investments.

Prior to joining Lake Capital, Rob completed over 48 acquisitions worth over $450 million in his nearly 16 year career, primarily involving healthcare companies. From 2004 to 2008, he led the merger and acquisitions efforts of Option Care, a national leader in home healthcare (which was purchased by Walgreen Co. in August of 2007).

In addition to this direct investing expertise, Rob was a manager in the financial advisory services group and served as regional group leader for the healthcare valuation practice at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Prior to Deloitte & Touche, Rob was president of RAM Consulting LLC, where he provided mergers and acquisitions, consulting and valuation advisory services to healthcare companies. He started his career as a corporate finance analyst at Lehman Brothers.

Rob earned a BA and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
