Brad Cornell joined
Lake Capital in 2006 after completing his MBA at the Wharton
School and having interned with Lake in 2005. His primary
responsibilities include evaluating potential investments,
structuring transactions, leading due diligence, negotiating
transaction and financing agreements, and managing portfolio
company investments, including NetStar-1, FishNet Security and Soil Safe.
Prior to joining Lake Capital, Brad was an assistant vice
president with GE Capital’s Merchant Banking Group, where
he performed extensive due diligence, valuation analyses,
and portfolio company monitoring for senior and subordinated
debt and junior capital investments in private equity-sponsored
leveraged buyouts. Before joining GE, Brad was an investment
banking analyst in the Business Services Group at William
Blair & Company. He began his finance career as an analyst
in Bank One’s Corporate Banking Development Program, where
he rotated through various capital markets areas of the bank.
Brad received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University
of Pennsylvania, having previously graduated with a BBA in
finance from James Madison University.
